Cohort 4 · 2026–2027 Program Cycle · Partner & Founder Briefer
About the Program
FyrLab is a highly selective acceleration program that provides customized mentorship, conditional growth support, and business development assistance to help early- and growth-stage startups become sustainable and investment-ready.
It is designed for founders with validated, revenue-generating businesses but weak operational, financial, or legal foundations that block growth — the most fragile, and most decisive, stage of a startup’s development.
FyrLab is positioned between formation-stage incubation and investor- or venture-stage funding, equipping founders with the operational depth, targeted capital, and sustained, expert-guided support needed to scale.
Who We’re Looking For
FyrLab backs early- to growth-stage, tech-product or technology-enabled service companies that already have paying customers and a validated offering, but need product and market realignment and stronger operational, financial, and legal systems to keep scaling.
- Baseline eligibility (all required)
- SEC or DTI registration
- validated, market-tested product or service (not a prototype or concept)
- documented proof of traction (paying customers and revenue)
- Priority given to:
- startups operating in or serving Western Visayas
- coachable, committed founding teams willing to adopt operational, financial, and legal discipline
- startups with a credible path to scale and investor-readiness
- a fit with at least one FyrLab support track
What Startups Get
- Structured mentorship. Bi-weekly one-on-one office hours and check-ins with mentor and monthly group office hours.
- Tailored growth support. Customized intervention plan calibrated to each startup’s specific gaps, spanning commercial growth, strategic partnerships, professional and operational systems, and investor readiness.
- (New) FyrLab Startup Prize. Up to PHP 100,000 in non-equity, conditional cash support per startup, released in tranches tied to verified traction milestones.
- Ecosystem belongingness. Access to the Iloilo City Innovation Hub (iHub) and Regional iHub, sectoral pitch and business-matching events, the Startup Iloilo movement, feature on FyrLab’s Startup Media (Fyrside Chats and other channels), and a Post-Cohort Growth Road Map at program completion.
Time Commitment
- 16-20 weeks of office hours / intense needs-based custom learning (starting ~October 2026)
- Agreed timeframe: Traction milestone-related activities and strategic capital deployment
- From Q4 2026 to Q2 2027: sector pitch meetings and dedicated Startup Media and select community engagements
